Hospitals in various states have halted their “gender-affirming care” treatments for minors after President Donald Trump issued an executive order on Thursday to cut federal support for these treatments.

DenverHealthinColoradohasstoppedprovidinggender-affirmingsurgeriesforpeopleunderage19,aspokespersonconfirmedThursday,inordertocomplywiththeexecutiveorderandcontinuereceivingfederalfunding.Itisunclearwhetherthehospitalwillcontinueprovidingothergender-affirmingcareforyouth,includinghormonetherapyandpubertyblockers.
