Border crossings have plummeted considerably since President Donald Trump won the 2024 presidential election, according to a report from U.S. Customs and Border Patrol (CBP).
Thereportnotesawhopping85percentdropinapprehensionsatthesouthernbordercomparedtothesametimeperiodin2024.ThissuggeststhatTrump’selectionhasdiscouragedmanywould-beillegalimmigrantsfromattemptingtogainentryintothecountry.
