Senator Amy Klobuchar was caught lying about Planned Parenthood. Again.
Klobuchar, a Minnesota Democrat, claimed on social media that Planned Parenthood is often the only place many women can turn for a mammogram, even though the abortion business doesn’t do mammograms.
In a July 11 X post, Klobuchar wrote: “I’m honored to have the endorsement of Planned Parenthood. For so many women, it’s the only place to turn for a mammogram, preventive screenings, reproductive health care, or contraception.”

The problem is the abortion giant doesn’t actually do mammograms like legit medical centers and doctors’ offices do.
Pro-life organizations have repeatedly pointed out that such statements conflict with Planned Parenthood’s own admissions.
In 2012, Planned Parenthood stated that it refers women elsewhere for mammograms rather than performing the procedure itself.
“Women rely on Planned Parenthood for referrals,” the organization said. “Planned Parenthood doctors and nurses refer patients to other facilities for mammograms.”
Staff at Planned Parenthood clinics have been recorded confirming the services are not available on site. One staff member at a Planned Parenthood of Arizona location said, “We don’t provide those services whatsoever.”
Another at a clinic in Overland Park, Kansas, stated, “We actually don’t have a, um, mammogram machine, at our clinics.”
Critics argue that portraying Planned Parenthood as a primary provider of mammograms and cancer screenings misleads the public about the organization’s core activities and is used to justify continued government funding for the abortion company.
And this isn’t the first time Klobuchar was caught lying about Planned Parenthood.
She made a similar claim in May 2019 during a Fox News town hall while defending taxpayer funding for the group. Klobuchar said women go to Planned Parenthood “for contraception, birth control, they’re going there for mammograms, they’re going there for cancer screenings.”
